Bright, newly remodeled cottage nested on a grassy hill in perfect location just a minute drive to downtown Durango. This stand alone, south facing cottage is a gem. Perfectly appointed for a couple or 1 person, perched a few steps from the Animas Mountain trail for miles of beautiful hiking. Sunrises and sunset, loads of views abound on this sweet property. This cottage is 450 square feet, lots of storage, walk in closet, and everything you need for an amazing Durango stay!

While this cottage is small, we have designed the space to be efficient and adaptable. The brand new, organic memory foam mattress, is actually "housed" in the murphy bed cabinet that can be taken down daily with ease, or remain set up depending on your needs. With the bed "up", there is no indication that there is a bed in the room. This is a new generation of murphy beds and allows for attractive "hiding" of the bed and the best use of space if desired.
